SYNOPSIS: Time Stands Still is set in Brooklyn and revolves around Sarah, a photo journalist who has returned from covering the Iraq war after being injured by a roadside bomb, and her reporter boyfriend James who is swamped by guilt after leaving Sarah alone in Iraq. They receive a visit from their friend Richard, a photo editor, who introduces them to his new girlfriend Mandy, who is much younger than he. The play focuses on their relationships and Sarah and James’ prospects at a more conventional life.

Originally produced in 2010 in New York City starring Laura Linney, Brian d’Arcy James, Eric Bogosian, Alicia Silverstone, this will be its Toronto debut.

Auditioning for the roles of;

Richard Ehrlich: 45-55
A photo editor. Charismatic, warm, witty. Cares deeply for Sarah and James. Besotted with Mandy. Loyal and supportive.

Mandy Bloom: 22-25
An event planner. Light hearted, sweet, eager to please…out of her element at Sara and Jame’s. She is not part of this world.
