ABC’s “Nashville is filming season 3 and is now casting extras to work in the Nashville, TN area this Friday, the 19th.
The show is seeking background talent who have never worked on “Nashville” season 3 or those whose only roles have been in large crowd scenes. On Location Casting is looking for talent who can play dancers, roadies, medical staff, security staff and venue staff. You can see the role descriptions as well as the age ranges sought below.
“Nashville” is about country stars and more specifically, the relationship between 2 female country singers. The 2 women are both country music superstars. Connie Britton plays the role of Rayna Jaymes, a country music legend who is now aging and seeing her popularity suffer. Hayden Panettiere plays rising star Juliette Barnes whose new found popularity threatens Rayna Jaymes.

NEW FACES who have not yet worked on this project during Season 3 –or– ONLY those who have ONLY worked in a crowd scene with 200+ people!! IF you submit and are not a ‘new face’ or were not in a crowd only, we will put a booking suspension in your file for the next two weeks!! Please don’t submit and say “but I was never seen” – if you were booked, you are NOT a new face!– **EXCEPTION – if you previously worked as a LUKE Roadie or a WILL Roadie – you can work!**
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 10-14 business days AFTER you work.
We do NOT yet have Call Times so you would need to be available ALL DAY. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT! .
Location is in the NASHVILLE, TN area.
EXTRAS:
- DANCER TYPES: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 18-28, attractive, fit, should have dancer physique and carry themselves as a dancer would, prefer real dancers with experience (*although you will NOT actually be performing or dancing)
- ROADIES (Juliette’s Roadies, NEW Roadies): male, all ethnicities, age range 19-55, should have some experience with musicial equipment or just be willing to move equipment and cables & look like a road crew person
- MEDICAL PERSONNEL: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 24-60, clean-cut, conservative
- VENUE SECURITY: male, all ethnicities, age range 20-50, larger stature but fit & athletic
- VENUE STAFF: female, all ethnicities, age range 22-40, variety of types
