The hit reality competition series “The Amazing Race” will be holding an open casting call tomorrow in Wichita!
Have you always wanted to travel the world with a friend? Come tryout for “The Amazing Race” and you may have a shot at travel and some big cash. The big cash is really big, $1 million dollars big! There are 2 open calls coming up, 1 in Wichita and another in the Denver area.
The Amazing Race starts with 11 teams of 2 and sets them on a trek around the planet. Last season contestants on the show made it through 5 continents and 30,000 miles during the filming of the show.
The show makes teams do challenges and the challenges provide clues to where the teams need to get to next. It is a race, so the losing teams get eliminated through the weeks and the last team standing gets to walk away with their memories of a trip of a lifetime plus $1 million dollars that can buy them an awful lot more travel.
The casting call will be hosted by the local CBS affiliate in Wichita and will take place during the Wichita Thunder hockey game at the Intrust Arena.
