New drama, still untitled

Male actor to play small-time gangster in his 60s. The play is a 6-character drama with strong comic flavor and mystery element.
The production will have two phases: 1) workshop development of script (January, 2015) and 2) stage production (anticipated for March, 2015).
The production is the work of Beyond The Pale Jewish Experiment, which has put on a few productions over the last five years. It is community theater–actors are not paid but have a chance to work collaboratively to develop a script. Seth Riemer, the playwright and founder of BTPJTE, will direct this production and has a vision of creating an ensemble company that works together to create original and provocative theater that appeals across religious and cultural boundaries.
