Two Boys Lost, a new play, focuses on a greater Boston family struggling with a homeless, mentally unstable brother. With residue of crooked politics in their past, the family is faced with reconciling their future ambitions with their troubled history.
The auditioned roles include two brothers, their sister, and a sister-in-law — all blue-collar and genuine Boston accents are preferred. One male role requires a believable stutter. The mother has already been cast.
Auditions will consist of a cold script reading, and a one-two minute monologue of your choosing. Appointment dates on April 16, 17, and 21, 7-10 p.m. Performance dates are Oct. 9 – 25, 2014, in a non-traditional venue in Cambridge. Stickball is pleased to have received a grand from the Cambridge Arts Council and Massachusetts Cultural Council towards this production.
