Casting Call for a Live Event in Chicago – multiple day booking

There is a casting call out for a live event in the Rosemont area.

The casting directors at 4 Star are seeking background talent of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities that are over the age of 18.

The event will be shot at the comvention center in Rosemont on the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. Talent cast does not need to be available for all the listed days but can sign up for one day or more upto 4 days. Those cast will be paid a daily rate of $100 with a possible bonus of $100.

You do not need to live in Illinois in order to be considered, however travel expenses will not be paid. If interested, apply ASAP as they will be booking through the weekend. There are many instructions for this, be sure to follow each step carefully.

Monday, August 4th, Midnight to 7:00am (overnight Monday into Tuesday)
Tuesday, August 5th, 6:00am to 3:00pm
Wednesday, August 6th, 6:00am to 3:00pm
Thursday, August 7th, 6:00am to 3:00pm
Friday, August 8th, 6:00am to 3:00pm

LOCATION: Convention Center, Rosemont

RATE: CASH – $100 per day. Upon completion AND for a job well done, an additional $100 BONUS!! If your personality shines, and you impress production, you receive the BONUS!

NON-UNION ROLES: Ages 18 and older, all shapes, sizes, and ethnicity. People who will be excited to be there! You MUST have a valid photo ID issued from the government. You DO NOT need to be an Illinois resident to work.

A few things to know:

This is a live event. You could be standing for up to 8 hours. You will be allowed to bring your own fold up chairs, umbrellas in case of weather, etc. There will be people on set to keep you informed of what’s going on.

You may be filmed, and your image may be used in promotional campaign.

Light meal and snacks will be provided.

Parking is not included, but we have some leads on free parking we will send that out if you are booked. Along with possible public transportation options.

Availability does not guarantee employment. No one will work more than 4 days. If you work overnight on Monday (into Tuesday), you are not eligible to work Tuesday during the day. However, if you are available to work either Monday or Tuesday, mark both, and based on needs, we will decide which date.

We will send out bookings for EACH day. In other words, if your two days, you will get two booking emails. If you work four days, you will get four booking emails. Booking emails will go out day before working (sooner if possible)

You MUST be registered with us at www.4starcasting.com to be considered. We are pulling photos for those submitted from your registration. Please make sure to use the same email for registration as you use in the survey. NO EXCEPTIONS! YOU MUST DO THIS BEFORE COMPLETING THE SURVEY. We will not track you down. If we search for your registration, and can’t find it, your survey submission will be deleted.

NOTE: If your look has changed since you last registered with us, please update your entire registration, and submit new photos in jpeg format.

There are 3 steps involved in potentially working on this live event:
1. AVAILABILITY CHECK – COMPLETING SURVEY
2. BOOKING EMAIL
3. CALL INFO

Here’s an explanation of what those steps are!

1. AVAILABILITY CHECK:
Complete a survey with your availability.

An availability check does NOT mean you are booked!

Once we receive everyone’s availability, we will book people based on the needs of the production for each date.

2. BOOKING EMAIL
If you are booked, you will receive a BOOKING EMAIL. It will give you the details of the date you are booked to work. You must respond to your booking or you will be replaced.

If you FILL OUT THE SURVEY and don’t receive a booking email, it means that you are not needed for this particular date. We will do our best to get a booking email to you no later than 24 hours of the shoot date, but that is not always possible.

3. CALL INFO
The day before your booking you will receive your CALL INFO. You can expect this email to arrive sometime in the evening. When you receive your CALL INFO email you are REQUIRED to respond. This is how we know you have received the information about wardrobe, location, call time, etc., and that you will be there.
