Now casting for science fiction show – Lead roles for non-union series

Steel City Studios a brand new production company located in Pittsburgh Pa is now accepting submissions for several acting positions for a brand new television series to begin filming in early summer 2015.
We will be casting for our new Science Fiction / Conspiracy theory program which will air on-line, and on a brand new television channel located in Pittsburgh along with seeking national distribution. This program will be a six episode series with the possibility of more episodes in the future.
We are seeking the following roles.
1. Male lead 1: Doctor type role, older man around early 50’s either with a beard or be willing to grow a beard a little bit on the heavy side. The role calls for this doctor to have an English accent.
2. Male lead 2: Doctor Type role, younger man early 20’s no beard and on the skinner side. The role calls for this doctor to have an English accent and will be the younger version of the older doctor described earlier.
3. Male and female lead 1: – Older male and female around mid-30’s dark black hair into Goth and conspiracy theories.
4. Male and female lead 2: Younger male and female around 7 to 10 years old fun loving.
5. Female lead 1: Nurse type role, older woman around early 50’s.
6. Female lead 2: Younger type nurse she will play the younger version of the older nurse.
7. Female lead 3: Older lady type role mid 40’s heavier set.
8. Female lead 4: Younger lady type role early 20’s thinner side.
9. 3 or 4 other men and women for background roles.
10. 3 to 4 younger children for background roles.
Submission Details:
1. If you are a union member or represented by an agent then DO NOT APPLY! We are looking for fresh actors and actresses who are not controlled by anyone but themselves.
2. Submit resume, headshot and a video link of your work to steelcitystudios74@yahoo.com by no later than January 25th 2015. In the email tell us about yourself, why did you get into acting and what you would like to be cast for and why you think you would be a good fit for our program and our production. IF YOU FAIL TO SEND
ANY OF THE ITEMS DESCRIBED WE WILL NOT PROCEED WITH STEP 2.
3. If selected we will ask you to continue on with submitting an application and a video to us and or skyping with us acting out a part from our series.
4. If we like the video you submit to us you will be asked to attend our official casting call in Pittsburgh Pa in late February 2015.
5. If selected to participate in our program please be advised that filming can take up to 6 weeks in the Pittsburgh Pa region.
6. Filming should begin in early summer 2015.
7. Compensation details will be discussed if offered a role.
