Auditions for “Watson, the Last Great Tale of the Legendary Sherlock Holmes” by Jaime Robledo will be held at the Dorset Playhouse, Cheney Rd., Dorset, on Monday, December 8th and Tuesday, December 9th from 6-8 pm. “Watson”, the upcoming March production of the Dorset Players, combines witty comedy and dramatic mystery as it brings to life the venerable Sherlock Holmes, his sidekick Dr.
Watson, his nemesis Professor Moriarity and a number of actual historical characters. Principal roles for 5 males (ages late 20’s to 50’s) and 3 females (mid-20’s to late 40’s) are available.
Additional important, and physically demanding supporting roles include 5-8 actors/stagehands (male or female) who are on stage moving set pieces and playing various supporting characters throughout the play, rarely leaving the stage.
