PERFORMERS
Step Afrika! hires full-time Company members on an 10-month contract, commencing each August. New hires must be based in Washington, DC or be willing to relocate.
We particularly seek performers with considerable experience in stepping and South African dance forms. Talented performers in other dance forms (i.e. Tap, West African, Modern, or Hip-Hop) and those with other strengths such as percussionists and/or vocalists are also encouraged to audition.
We hold auditions once each year in May, but we also accept applications on an ongoing basis. If you are interested in being considered for the Company, please submit our dancer application.
