Teen extras for FX Show
The FX pilot “How and Why” is currently filming in Wilmington and the production is in need of 14 to 16 year old boys who may have some martial arts or gymnastics experience.
“How and Why” is written by Oscar winner Charlie Kaufman (‘Being John Malkovick”) and he will also be directing. Sally Hawkins and Catherine Keener are set to star in this half hour comedy.
This scene will have some staged fight scenes, however, there will be no actual fighting or heavy physical contact. The pilot’s producers are looking for teen boys who are able to do some fight choreography. This will be filming in Wilmington, NC on the 30th of April.

TEEN BOY CASTING CALL FOR FX PILOT
The extras casting director is Ashli Bogart, Please only submit if you fit the description and live within driving distance of Wilmington NC.
I am looking for submissions for 14-16 yr old boys any ethnicity who has a background in sports, martial arts or gymnastics and it would also be helpful if they have worked as an extra before. I am going to need a handful of boys for a scene that will need to be able to take directions for choreographed movements that will look like a fight, BUT NO ACTUAL PHYSICAL CONTACT (MAYBE SOME LIGHT SHOVING) SHOULD TAKE PLACE WITH IN THE SCENE.
So looking for boys who have good body control and can take directions so that is why I am focusing on boys with sports, martial arts or gymnastics background.
As of right now the scene is scheduled for WED APRIL 30 (please note that this can always change) and we ask that if you submit your child that they are available all day. The pay for this specialty extra is $120/12hr. I am really looking for boys in the Wilmington area or close surrounding areas because we will be setting up “auditions” for some day next week most likely after school and then whoever is selected will than need to be available for a rehearsal day as well.
