The “Divergent” trilogy is still filming in the Atlanta area.
CL Casting, the folks who also cast the extras on “The Hunger Games” are booking people for the roles to work next week on the 12th on the “Divergent” sequel, Insurgent..
The casting directors for the project extras are CL casting, out of the Atlanta area, the same company that just wrapped up extras casting on “The Hunger Games” final film.
The movie is looking for background actors who are quite tall. All men must be 5’11 or taller and female extras must be at least 5’8. They are looking for people who are in great physical shape, may have had some experience on set and are able to make it to a fitting in the Atlanta area sometime this week or next. The fitting date is still to be determined.
Also, the film is looking for an Asian stand in, also available to work in the Atlanta area. You can see all the specifics for that below. The stand-in must be available to work between the 13th and the 15th.
Divergent / Insurgent is a sci fi thriller based on the Veronica Roth novels and is often compared to “The Hunger Games” trilogy. Divergent is also a trilogy, The first novel is Divergent followed by Insurgent and the final book “Allegiant.” The film stars Shailene Woodley as Beateice, Theo James as Four and Kate Winslet as Jeanine. “Divergent” came out in theaters a few months back and “Insurgent” will be released next year followed by “Allegiant” in 2016 through Lionsgate entertainment.
