“The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe”

Join Chesham Bois Catholic Players as they enter the magical world of Narnia. When four young evacuees leave London they enter they mysterious house of Professor Kirk, where a portal in a wardrobe in a spare room leads them on an adventure to the winter wonderland that is Narnia. Come battle the White Witch with Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy as they join forces with the great lion Aslan and host of mythical creatures.
Based on the classic C.S. Lewis novel, this timeless tale has enthralled readers for many years. Now it has been adapted for the stage by Adrian Mitchell with a beautiful score by Shaun Davey. CBCP are excited to be presenting this production at the Elgiva, Chehsam from 22nd January 2015 to 25th January. It promises to be great fun for audience and those involved alike.

Auditions will be held at the Little Theatre by the Park, Church Street, Chesham, HP5 1HU on Sunday 13th July (from 2pm) and Thursday 17th July (from 5pm). Audition slots will be allocated on a first come first served basis – so the quicker you grab your slot the less time you’ll be needed. At the audition you’ll be taken through a short dance routine with the production team, asked to read a small section of the script and sing a song (a cappella) of your choice lasting 20-40 seconds. Book your place now before all the audition slots get taken!
We are also looking for people who would be interested to help behind the scenes. If you are a budding technical whiz or are just interested in what goes on behind the scenes, we would love to hear from you.
