The Musical Theatre Audition Workshop for Young Professionals

EXCLUSIVE WORKSHOP INCLUDES:
Personalized song selections and cuts for musical theatre auditions
Individual coaching on acting and singing technique
Help organizing a professional resume and audition book
Insider tips on what to expect at local auditions for Zach Theatre and McCallum High School
OPTIONAL: Photography session for professional headshots (for additional fee)
Each student will participate in “mock auditions” throughout the week to build confidence in audition situations. They will also learn dance combinations from actual Broadway auditions. The Audition Workshop will culminate in the SATURDAY AFTERNOON SHOWCASE, in which every student will present one of their songs and perform a dance combination to an invited audience.
SPECIAL GUEST ARTIST— WARREN FREEMAN: Warren has over 12 years of professional performance experience, and has played leading roles on Broadway stages in New York, on 3 National Tours, and at Zach Scott Theatre. He is a member of Actors’ Equity, holds a Masters in Voice Pedagogy and a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance, and now teaches musical theatre at colleges and performing arts high schools in the Washington DC area.
