There is a CASTING CALL out for a male actor in his late 40’s to mid 50’s for a national social media promo.
The commercial will be a social media campaign that will run on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter. The actor will play the role of a high school coach that is still living out his glory days and offer up a comedic performance for a back to school campaign.
Actors are asked to send their reels and resumes via US mail in order to be considered for the roles. If selected, the production company will pay a fee for the performance as well as travel and accommodations for the duration of the shoot.

We are casting for a national, back-to-school promotion on Instagram (video), Twitter and Facebook for our client (a national sporting goods retailer) and are in need of a talented comedic/improv actor to play a high-school coach character (late 40’s to 50’s.) Looking for a quick footed and witted Nick Offerman/Uncle Rico/Thomas Lennon (The State) type who can go off the page – teach life lessons, give inspirational pep talks, as well as suggest certain products to help students and parents get motivated for back-to-school shopping. Looking for a comedian who is able to go from 0 to 60 on a dime.
We will tailor the role to the right actor.
Project details:
Shooting June 28 (half-day in Birmingham, Al)
Shooting July 24 (full-day in Birmingham, Al)
