Quite a few pilots are filming right now all over the country and ABS’s “American Crime” about the the lives of people who are participating in a murder trial, is currently in production in the Austin Texas area.
The projects casting team is looking to cast some featured extras for a bridal scene filming next week in Austin. They are seeking to fill the featured extras roles of a bride, a groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen.
This is ONLY for Texas residents, preferably those in the Austin area.
You will need valid Texas ID to be considered to work on the show.
The TV Pilot / series is created by academy award nominated writer John Riddley (12 years a slave) and is a drama series that will take on the complicated issues of racism in a story about a murder, the murder trial and those involved in the legal process of that trial.John Riddley is also executive producing the ABC show.
On Location Casting in Texas released the following extras call:
ABC Television Pilot “American Crime” for work on either WEDNESDAY 3/5/14 -or- THURSDAY 3/6/14. We are not certain of the exact date so you MUST be available to work on either date if you submit. **You would also need to be available for a paid Wardrobe FITTING on Friday 2/28/14.
Pay rate is $64.00 for 8 hours plus overtime paid after 8 hours (if necessary).
We obviously do NOT have Call Times yet so it could be a VERY early morning start and/or could possibly shoot late into the evening/night. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Location is in the AUSTIN,TX area.

BRIDE ‘LILY’: female, Caucasian, age range 24-31, dirty blond hair, height range 5’5.5″-5.8.5″, thin build, attractive, wholesome, natural (example: Helen Hunt).
GROOM ‘MATT’: male, Caucasian, age range 24-31, brown hair, height range 6’1″-6’3″, fit, athletic, attractive, wholesome, could potentially be a military type so should have short hair.
BRIDESMAIDS: female, Caucasian, age range 24-31, pretty, average build, wholesome, ‘real people’, normal types.
GROOMSMEN: male, Caucasian, age range 24-31, decent looking, wholesome, normal average guys, ‘real people’
