A new post-apocalyptic film trilogy is in the works. The first film of the series called ‘The 5th Wave’ is now filming in Georgia and is casting paid extras to work in Atlanta / Norcross area.
‘The Fifth Wave‘ is an alien invasion story. The movie is based on the books written by Rick Yancey of the same name. The film is being produced by Toby Maguire (‘Spiderman‘). The film’s casting directors at Tammy Smith are looking for some men and women to play soldiers and guards in scenes filming later this week, Friday and Saturday.
Chloë Grace Moretz will star as our heroine Cassie Sullivan. Cassie’s world has been torn apart by waves of alien attacks. Cassie has survived 4 waves of attacks but The 5th Wave is still to come. Through all the turmoil, Cassie becomes separated from her brother and must now rush to find him before the 5th Wave. Cassie meets another teen along the way, the mysterious Evan Walker who is played by Alex Roe . ‘The 5th Wave‘ will also star Liev Schreiber as the bad guy and Nick Robinson as ‘Zombie’.

***PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ***
Looking for MALE & FEMALE MILITARY TYPES,
between ages 25 – 60 – to portray officers in a military strategy room
(military and police experience is a plus but not mandatory)
ALL should be physically fit and in good shape
to portray military OFFICERS
This will be DAYTIME filming and will be a very small, fairly featured group of officers with one of the main actors in the film.
IMPORTANT NOTES
1. This works FRI 12/19 and SAT 12/20 – You MUST be available for BOTH DAYS!!!
2. Men need to have short hair, or willing to have hair cut
(NOT an extreme military cut, but should be neat
especially around the ears and neck).
Men need to be CLEAN SHAVEN
– only a cop-like mustache is allowed if any facial hair.
3. NEW FACES ONLY PLEASE – or if you worked the show before you CANNOT have been featured on camera or in a specific other group.
4. Pay rate for THIS group is $64 for 8 hrs with OT after that.
