We are looking for performers who are reliable, enthusiastic, punctual, hardworking, and responsible (a minimum of three references are required). We are looking for performers who will find this job fun, fulfilling, and currently have a lifestyle/culture that this work would complement/fit well into.

PERKS OF THE JOB:
• Flexible Hours – your schedule will be made two weeks to one month in advance and you will never be scheduled when you are not available. Once you are scheduled your shift becomes your responsibility and it’s up to you to get it covered if something comes up. You are welcome to take time off. Go on vacation. If you get cast in a tour, AWESOME, don’t put yourself on the schedule during the time of your rehearsal and performances and you can begin picking up shifts when you are done with your project.

• Consistent Performance Work – this show runs all year round. If you want to work a lot or a little there will always be shows to do. This show is a great way to keep up and grow your improv, physical theatre, comedy, and performances skills.

• Pay – You will be paid twice a month. We take pride in making sure everyone we work with gets paid on time. It’s always nice to bring in the bacon/brains for being a performer. Zombies work two or three shows per day and will make between $60 -$90, Host will work two to six shows a day and make between $50 – $150.

• Tax Write Offs – as an independent contractor you can write A LOT off your taxes, even things you already need to buy.

Character Breakdown:

Gretchen/Gustavo Von Guttenberg (Chief Lab Technician – Host)
This role is completely interactive from the minute our guests walk through the door until they depart as undead flesh eaters. Guttenberg is an actor in the show as well as the director of the 12 actors in the show who are the protagonists and decide their own fate. This role is extremely outgoing! We need bubbly folks with volcanic, improv personalities ready to erupt with excitement about the show.

Dr. Oxy. (Zombie)
This character is a fully costumed starving zombie! This actor is a loud, athletic floor dweller who spends the duration of the show (1 hour) on his/her stomach and knees chasing the other actors (participants) around the room. This role can be very physically demanding and calls for being incredibly vocal each and every show. Dr. Oxy should go home exhausted, but never hungry for human flesh!vvThis role demands a keen sense of dramatic timing and live interaction between the show participants.

Actors with a history of improv excel in both roles. All contractors that we hire will need to play both roles.
