The new Sony streaming series “Powers” is filming season 1 in ATLANTA.
“Powers” has been releasing many extras casting calls lately, and here is one more. There is a 3 day call out for background talent with unique looks such as piercings, tattoos, bikers, and clubbers with a fierce look.
The new show will be premiering on the PS platform in early 2015. It will be available to all of Sony’s Playstation plus subscribers. “Powers” is based on the comic created by Bendis and Oeming . Sharlto Copley will star as Christian Walker, an ex-superhero turned police detective after losing his super powers in the fight of his life. Michelle Forbes will be playing his partner, Deena Pilgrim. The new show is about a place where superpowers are not all that uncommon but most people still do not possess them.

PlayStation will be distributing the new “Powers” television series exclusively on the PlayStation Network. The show came to New York Comic Con with cast and crew to show the first look at the TV series.
