Featured Extras – Austin Texas / San Marcos Texas
There is a casting call out for extras and featured extras in the San Marcos, Texas area for Richard Linklater “Dazed and Confused” type comedy. The film is set in the 70’s and 80’s and the production is looking for some for men between the ages of 18 and 26 who have longish or shaggy hair as well as some 70’s punk rock types. The scene will be filming in the San Marcos area tomorrow.
Paramount Studios and Richard Linklater (Dazed and Confused) are working on a film project many are calling the “Dazed and Confused” sequel. Linklater was also the director for the comedies “School of Rock” and the “Bad News Bears” remake. The new film is being called “Twita” which stands for “That’s what I’m talking about” and is about a college student who joins a highly rated college baseball team. Once at his new school he learns his new team mates are a hard partying bunch.
The film will star Tyler Hoechlin (“Teen Wolf”), Wyatt Russell (“22 Jump Street”), Ryan Guzman, Zoey Deutch, Will Brittain, and Glen Powell (“The Expendables 3″, “Ride Along 2“).

COLLEGE STUDENTS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 18-25, variety of types – however, guys MUST have shaggier (over the ears) hair and ladies can not have a short, modern hair cut. This take place in the late 70s-early 80s so we have to have period hairstyles! Guys – if you have facial hair, you can keep a mustache & long sideburns, but NO beards/goatees/soul patches.

THIS will be Picture Picked by our Director Richard Linklater so please make sure your photo reflects the look we are asking for. Also – make sure you are 100% available if submitting. We don’t want to show Rick your photo and then have you back out!!
