Lionel ‘Leo’ Messi Feature Film
A feature film is holding auditions for a teen who resembles Lionel ‘Leo’ Messi, a soccer player who became a superstar in his home country of Argentina and around the world. The teen cast for the film will have all his expenses (and a parents) paid for travel to Los Angeles, Argentina and Spain.
The role up for grabs is that of Leo Messi in his teen years. While the casting directors prefer someone who speaks both English and Spanish, it is not required as long as the teen looks like the picture of Messi. They are looking for a Caucasian teen who is 12 to 16 years old.
Epic Pictures will be producing the Lionel Messi Biopic and the company has acquired the rights to the biography about the soccer superstar “Messi: The Inside Story of the Boy Who Became a Legend” by Luca Caioli. Epic will finance and produce the film. The film will focus its story on how Messi came up from humble beginnings to become one of the greatest soccer players of all time. Lionel Messi currently plays forward for Spanish club FC Barcelona as well as being captain of the Argentina national team.
In a report from Variety, last year, the projected release date of the film will coincide with the World Cup, to be held in Brazil starting on June 12, 2014.
The report also quoted one of the producers as saying that “The goal is to make a powerful and positive film that will leave audiences feeling inspired to go after their dreams no matter how impossible they may seem,” . Lionel Messi overcame some phsical problems to rise up to the challenges of pro sports.

and is an Argentine football player who currently
plays for FC Barcelona in Spain. Messi is the captain
of his national team, Argentina, and plays predominantly
as a forward. This will be the story leading up to that.
