Casting call for paid movie extras in NYC
Ney York City casting directors at GWC are seeking extras ages 35 to 45 who are available to work multiple days between the 30th of this month and the 7th of next month. They are hoping to find some Florida comedy types and improv experience is preferred but not required.
The scenes will be filming in the Long Island area but transportation to Long Island from the city may be available to those cast.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be coming back in “The Nest“. The pair is reuniting on screen for another comedy from Universal Pictures.
The film will be directed by Jason Moore (“Pitch Perfect“). Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are both listed as producers on the project that they will also be starring in.
In “The Nest“, Poehler and Fey will be playing sisters who after finally getting thrown out of their parents home, decide to move in together. Along the line they throw a big party and since this is a comedy, we can expect that their party may not gave gone as planned.

Age range 35-45 only. Works MULTIPLE DATES 7/30-8/7, currently scheduled for the following: Wed 7/30, Friday 8/1, SATURDAY 8/2, Mon 8/4, Tues 8/5 MUST BE AVAILABLE ALL WORK DATES, as they are matching. Dates are subject to change, but all shoot dates will be between 7/30-8/7.
Florida, character types. Improv/comedy experience is great! Please note specific experience if you have (professional and/or training). Shoot will take place on Long Island, with transportation provided from Manhattan if needed.
