Vampire Diaries is back for a new season on the CW Network.
The show is currently filming in Covington and needs background actors for a scene filming this upcoming Wednesday.
The show’s extras casting directors are seeking people local to the Covington area to portray joggers, construction workers and neighborhood watch. All ethnicities are welcome between the ages of 25 and 40.
Vampire Diaries is about a group of Vampires living in a fictional town called Mystic Falls where clans of vampires walk the streets. The town has a whole lot of supernatural activity going on, not just the vampires. Witches, warlocks, werewolves and vampires all seem to live alongside humans.
Nina Debrev plays Elena, a woman who meets a very handsome man who also happens to be a vampire.
The series was developed for the CW Network by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. The “Vampire Diaries” TV series is based on the novels by L. J. Smith that are also called “Vampire Diaries“. The show has been quite successful and last year a spin-off called ‘The Originals” was also created for the CW Network.
Season 6 of the show is now filming and will premiere on the CW Network this coming fall.
