CW’s new demon, supernatural series, “South of Hell” is is filming in the Charleston, SC area.
The show will be filming some final scenes this week before going on a holiday break. Folks living in SC still have a chance to work as extras this week because Vanessa N. Casting is accepting submissions today for a scene filming tomorrow afternoon. This scene will be filming this Thursday in the Charleston area and is seeking background talent between their 20’s and 40’s that has not yet worked on the show.
“South of Hell“ is being produced by Blumhouse Productions, the same people who brought us “Paranormal Activity,” “Insidious,” and “Sinister”. The show’s first episode is being directed by Eli Roth (“Hostel“) .
“South of Hell” is about a women named Maria Abascal (Mena Suvari). Maria is a demon hunter who along with her brother David, track down the evil spirits that have possessed others. Maria has her own dark secret s well. Maria’s body is also invaded by an evil spirit who is also struggling to gain control. It takes all of Maria’s strength to keep her demon in check and prevent her demon from overtaking her completely. “South of Hell” is actually set in the city of Savannah Georgia but will be filming in South Carolina.
This will film in South Carolina, please only apply if you are local to the area.
