New WGN America TV series “Salem” looking to cast some paid extras.
Salem, the WGN original scripted series is looking for paid extras. Legacy Casting which handles background actors in Texas and Louisiana is hiring paid background to work on “Salem” in the end of February and early March 2014.

The series films in Louisiana, though it is set in Massachusetts. The show is about the infamous which trials and witches in 17th century Massachusetts. The show is a supernatural series that explores a dark, supernatural side of Salem, MA.
WGN – Set in the volatile world of 17th century Massachusetts, ‘Salem’ explores what really fueled the town’s infamous witch trials and dares to uncover the dark, supernatural truth hiding behind the veil of this infamous period in American history. In Salem, witches are real, but they are not who or what they seem.
“Salem” will be the first original scripted series for WGN America. The series stars Jon Arthur, Roxy Rebel and Elise Eberle. It is produced by 20th Century FOX Television for WGN and created by Brannon Braga (Star Trek, 24) and Adam Simon (The Haunting In Connecticut). The show will premiere either late in 2014, in October… just in time for Halloween or in April 2014. I’ve seen both premier dates used so I guess we will have to wait and see.

Salem Extras: We are seeking extremely strange and weird looking people to be members of a coven. If you have worked as an extra already in Salem, you will not be considered. Examples of weird looking people would have misshapen skulls, overly long necks, oversized teeth, uni-brows, out of the ordinary body types, etc.

Hi I’m a disabled scrub tech who just found out that Salem films in Shreveport, La. I live here now. I have different lookrom having to take large doses of Prednisone. Please let me know when you will be needing new extras for Salem. I’ve become a fan of the show & it would be fun to be an extra in shreveport La for Salem.
