PLEASE READ FULL POSTING FOR ALL INFORMATION AND SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
Where:
– Crowne Plaza – Portland – 1441 NE 2nd Ave., Portland OR 97232
– Parking in the Hotel lot, is subject to availability and must be paid for at the Hotel front desk. You may also opt to use street parking.
– Please check in at the front desk to confirm and get directions for audition/meeting room
When:
– Those auditioning will be seen in a group on Saturday, April, 11 at 12noon.
– Please do your best to arrive on time, but if you are running late please still do stop in, we’ll do what we can to still see you.
– Those auditioning should expect to stay for 2 hours but could be released sooner.
Seeking:
– Actors ages 18-60, for hire as company cast members.
– Shows are ongoing, most Saturday nights, only 9 company members are needed for one show.
-Actors are scheduled according to their availability, collected each month.
-Actors with improv experience are a plus.
What:
-Interactive, Improv Murder Mystery Dinner Show set in modern day with no costumes and no serving required.
-Show performs Saturday nights and some weekdays subject to actor availability.
-Time commitment for regular shows is 4-6 hours including a pre-show rehearsal.
-No weekly rehearsals required, you rehears only when you are scheduled to work.
-Weekly show location is at the Hotel Deca
-Private shows booked all over the Greater Portland area, travel stipends are added when locations are more than 20 miles from the Corwne Plaza location.
– Casting rotates depending on actor availability collected & scheduled on a 1 month basis.
Audition:
2 hours, audition consisting of improv games.
Project Start Date:
– For those hired work will begin as early as April 11, pending availability.
Those cast will be part of New Cast Training on April 11, from 11-2.
– Availability for this dates/times WILL NOT be a determining factor on your hiring, so no worries if you’ve already got a conflicting gig.
– Please come to the audition prepared to give availability for May & June 2015, so bring your booking calendar!
Requirement:
-Hard copy of head shot or recent picture, quality is not a concern provided we have something to remember you by.
-Resumes are also needed no matter your level of experience; all levels are welcome to audition.
Pay: Pay ranges from $50-$110 plus meal and tips, pending role. Roles rotate each show.
