Rooftop Theatre Collaborative seeks female actor for The Last Five Years (presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International)
Audition Dates:
Tuesday, June 23rd, 7:30 pm-10 pm
Saturday, June 27th, 12 pm-6 pm
All auditions and performances will take place at the Actors’ NET of Bucks County, 635 N Delmorr Avenue, Morrisville, PA 19067
Audition Details and Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old at time of auditions.
Please prepare A Summer in Ohio in the original key (Bb Major). An accompanist will be provided.
Cold readings from the script are possible.
A current resume and a headshot if available.
List of all known conflicts between June 29th and August 23rd.

About the Show:
The Last Five Years, an emotionally powerful and intimate musical written by Jason Robert Brown, explores a five-year relationship between Jamie Wellerstein, a rising novelist, and Cathy Hiatt, a struggling actress. The show uses a form of storytelling in which Cathy’s story is told in reverse order (beginning the show at the end of the marriage), and Jamie’s is told in chronological order (starting just after the couple have first met). The characters do not directly interact except for a wedding song in the middle as their timelines intersect.
Character Breakdown:
Catherine Hiatt – Character has a reverse arc from a woman stunned by a betrayal and a divorce that she is only beginning to understand to an ambitious, fresh-faced girl in a new relationship.
Stage Age: 25-35 yrs old
Vocal Range: F3 – D#5, strong belt
