Shot in real time in one continuous and uninterrupted take, “Alone” follows a young high school junior with minor brain trauma who discovers she might not actually be living home alone when she investigates strange noises in one night at a house she is residing in. A horror film with the mind of a drama that builds tension through real horror instead of making the audience jump and laugh.
