The “Divergent” series just released another casting call for extras in the Atlanta area.
If you live in Atlanta, Georgia, here is a chance to get a small part as a movie extra in the sci-fi trilogy.
A new casting call for “Allegiant part 1” has just been released and they need to fill a ton of roles in scenes that will be filming this month.
The new installment of the “Divergent” series of films is currently filming in the Atlanta, Georgia area and is seeking a variety of types to fill various small roles in the film. Some of the types the film’s casting directors are looking for include white collar, business types, people that are clean shaven, polished appearance, very thin adults and people with some weapons or martial arts training. All roles will work in the Atlanta area sometime towards the end of this month.
The final chapter of the “Divergent” saga, “Allegiant” will be split into 2 parts with “Allegiant Part 1” coming out around late spring 2016 and part 2 following a year later in 2017. The movies are based on the Veronica Roth novels of the same name and follow a teen girl named Beatrice “Tris” Prior in a post apocalyptic Chicago. Tris lives in a society where the population is split up into groups based on their traits, those that do not conform to any group are called “Divergent“. In the film, Tris uncovers a plot to get rid of all of the Divergents and becomes part of a rebellion that is brewing in her world.
