American Crime is now in production in Austin Texas and there is a new casting call out for paid extras.
ABC’s ‘American Crime’ season 2 is filming in Austin Texas and looking for Austin area residents who would like a chance to work as a paid extra on the show.
‘American Crime‘ is created by John Riddley (12 Years a Slave) who also serves as the show’s executive producer. The anthology series focuses on a new story with each season. In the first season, ‘American Crime‘ took on the heavy topic of racial tension in America. The story focused on the lives of the people involved in a murder trial and the repercussions for the community. Season 2 of “American Crime”, which is now filming, will focus on a completely different story with the same cast. The cast will be playing completely different characters. The show stars Timothy Hutton, Felicity Huffman, and Emmy Award Winner Regina King.
According to a recent report in THR, Andre Benjamin, the singer from OutKast AKA Andre 3000, is set to make his television debut as a series regular in season 2. Season 2 of the Emmy-nominated series will be set in the midwest where an incident at a high school sparks discussions about gender issues, sexual orientation and sexual identity.

American Crime Season 2, Starring Timothy Hutton, Felicity Huffman, and Emmy Award Winner Regina King, is looking for paid background extras ages 18 and up and all ethnicities to portray Upscale Gala Patrons on Friday October 9, 2015. No experience necessary! We are looking for real people to work with us on the show.
Work Schedule: Filming takes place Friday October 9, 2015 in Austin Texas. Filming will take place during the day and you will be expected to work 8-12 hours. This is part time employment. You will not be needed every day. Opportunities available for those who want to work one day or multiple days.
Payment: Minimum payment is $64 for 8 hours. Time and a half after 8 hours. Work days are generally 12 hours. Approximate pay for a 12 hour day is $112. Meals and snacks are also provided while working on set.
