Laura Stanczyk Casting is coming to Toronto from December 2nd-4th to hold auditions for the national tour of Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story Onstage! This is an AEA tour with great salary and benefits.

Casting the following roles:
BABY HOUSEMAN– Female, Caucasian, to play age 17. Seeking an excellent, classically trained actress with a background in dance. DOES NOT SING. LEAD/PRINCIPAL
JOHNNY CASTLE– Male, Caucasian, to play mid 20s-early 30s. – MUST BE AT LEAST 5’11”. DANCER- PREFERABLY FROM THE WORLD OF CLASSICAL OR MODERN DANCE WHO CAN ACT. Must be tall, extremely handsome and masculine with excellent physique. DOES NOT SING. LEAD/PRINCIPAL
PENNY-Female, Caucasian, to play mid 20s. DANCER- PREFERABLY FROM THE WORLD OF CLASSICAL OR MODERN DANCE WHO CAN ACT. Spectacular dancer and good actor. PRINCIPAL
NEIL KELLERMAN– Male, Caucasian, to play early-late 20s. Strong actor who has comic abilities. Bari-tenor. PRINCIPAL
ROBBIE– Male, Caucasian, to play 20s-30s. Strong actor who can dance. He is a Yale medical student. Attractive and charming. Baritone. PRINCIPAL
MALE & FEMALE ENSEMBLE DANCERS –
Any ethnicity 18 – 30 . Must look like real people rather than dancers and actors. Must be TRULY FIT and have extensive training in ballet, jazz, latin, and ballroom. PARTNERING EXPERIENCE A MUST. Men must be 5’10” or taller. Principal covers will come out of the ensemble.
