BUSCH GARDENS ENTERTAINMENT together with BOB CLINE CASTING are seeking vibrant, and energetic performers for its collection of world-class Spring/Summer season productions. Looking for a few triple threat performers, but mostly strong actors/singers and strong dancer/actors. Performers of all ethnicities are strongly encouraged to attend. Seeking youthful, dynamic, high-energy male and female Pop Rock Singer/Dancers, and athletic Dancers. Award-winning Creative Team members come from Broadway, Hollywood and London’s West End theatres. The highly acclaimed shows have the spirit, energy and production values of mini Broadway musicals.
All rehearsals are in Williamsburg, VA. Rehearsals begin for core shows on March 12th. These shows open March 27 and run through Labor Day. “London Rocks” rehearsals begin April 7th. Show opens on April 24, running through Labor Day.
Pays $19.76 an hour for principal roles. $14.07 an hour for ensemble roles. Non-union.

[MALE SINGER/DANCER/ACTOR ] Principal Role. Can play teen to mid 20’s. A hip, youthful dynamic British rockstar: naturally charming and magnetic, extremely personable, high energy Singer/Dancer with excellent pop rock chops, vibrant dance skills and a hip, cool rocker look. Rhythm Guitar skills a major plus. Vocal Range: Rock Tenor to B
[MALE SINGER/DANCER] Can play teen to mid 20’s. Lovable, goofy British rocker kid. Must sing pop rock and dance extremely well. Bass guitar skills a major plus. Plays various characters. Vocal Range: Rock Bari-Tenor to Ab
[MALE DANCER] Can play teen to mid 20’s. Must have very energetic athletic dance skills, style and technique. Plays various characters.
[MALE SWING DANCER] Principal Role. Seeking very dynamic, unique, excellent athletic dancers. Must have strong technique and sense of style. Partnering and lift experience, tumbling, circus and special skills a plus. Must be able to learn and play all male dancer roles to cover all mainstage shows. 5’8” or taller. Males should bring jazz shoes.
[MALE SWING VOCALIST] Principal Role. Must be able to learn and play all male singer roles (up to 8 parts) to cover all mainstage shows. Exceptional singer with great presence. Must move very well. Proficiency in basic keyboard and reading music a plus. Vocal Range: Tenor with strong belt and sustained G5.
[FEMALE SINGER/DANCER/ACTOR] Principal Role. Can play teen to mid 20’s. Naturally charming and alluring, beautiful spirit, extremely personable, high energy Singer/Dancer with excellent pop rock chops and versatile dance skills. A youthful type British rock singer. Ginger hair a plus. Vocal Range: Rock Belter to E
[FEMALE DANCER] Can play teen to mid 20’s. Must have very energetic athletic dance skills, style and technique. Plays various characters.
[FEMALE SWING VOCALIST] Principal Role. Must be able to learn and play all female singer roles (up to 8 parts) to cover all mainstage shows. Exceptional singer with great presence and comedic timing. Must move very well. Proficiency in basic keyboard and reading music a plus. Vocal Range: Versatile Mezzo with top note: E5
[FEMALE SWING DANCER] Principal Role. Seeking very dynamic, unique, excellent athletic dancers. Should have strong technique and sense of style. Partnering and lift experience, tumbling, circus and special skills a plus. Must be able to learn and play all female dancer roles to cover all mainstage shows. 5’6” or taller. Females should bring heels and flats.
What to prepare:
Please prepare a song selection that shows off your voice and range. Contemporary Broadway or pop is best for us. Singers should be prepared to come back for a movement call later in the day or the following day. Bring sheet music; no CD accompaniment please. Pianist provided. Dancers should bring both characters and flats, and tap shoes if you tap. For the dance call Dancers should still bring a song selection. Please bring your audition book, in case you are asked to sing another type of song selection. Bring headshot & resume.
