Auditions For PARADE (In-Concert)

From the Award-winning community theater company who brought you sold-out performances of hit musicals such as Legally Blonde: The Musical, Into The Woods, Les Miserables, and Little Shop of Horrors, New Vision Players holds auditions for their Summer 2015 Musical: PARADE (in concert)!
Parade (In concert) will feature a large cast, with all roles available. There will be limited staging, but plenty of opportunities for talented vocals and stage acting. The show will be performed in its entirety with dialogue. All dialogue and vocals will be completely off-book for performances.
-If you’re looking for a relatively small(er) time commitment than usual, this is the perfect show for you!

* Go through in the front entranceway. There will be signs and/or people helping you get to the audition area.
FOR AGES 17 AND UP!
WHAT TO PREPARE:
-Two songs, one upbeat and one ballad, that best show off your vocals. Please cut it down to 16-32 bars each. An accompanist will be present at the auditions, but you are welcome to perform your songs a cappella instead.
– We recommend you do not sing songs from the show
– There will be no dance portion
– Be prepared to do a cold reading/monologue from the show.
CALLBACKS
Wednesday, June 24th from 7 to 11 PM at Woodcrest Health Care Center.
REHEARSALS:
Two weeknights (Monday & Wednesday nights from 7 – 10/10:30 PM).
Rehearsals begin the week of July 6th and run until the week of the performance. All rehearsals will be at the same location as auditions: Woodcrest Health Center
TECH REHEARSAL:
Thursday, August 13th: 5-10pm
PERFORMANCE DATES:
Friday, August 14th (8pm)
Saturday, August 15th (8pm)

All performances will be at Porchlight Theater in Glen Rock, New Jersey!!
