Web Series Overview:
Q, a young urban man from the tough side of town, must navigate the post high school world and try to assure his mother is taken care of in spite of her new husband Lafayette. With the help of his best friend Jake and the always annoying Brittany, Q realizes that becoming a man is more than just your age.
Role Descriptions:
Jake- early to mid 20s white male, brunette or blonde. He is the supporting actor, best friends with the Lead character Q. He’s not very intelligent, He’s been to juvenile hall, kicked out of his parents at 13. he’s only motivated when he’s around Q, but tends to always convince Q to loosen up and party and get into the dating game.
Brittany- A larger girl, early 20s, African American, supporting character. Very obsessed with Q, the lead character. She always has ever since they were kids. She’s also very odd, wears out dated clothes, a loner, but very smart. She has a hidden talent of singing.
Lafyaette- mid 40s, supporting character. He is Grace’s fiancee, Q’s Mother. He’s Canadian, he started a transporting business, he sends goods to U.S on large Semi’s. He does business with the Mafia and that’s what gives him the wealth he has. He’s very chauvinistic towards women, womanizer, smoker, and drinker. He hates Q with a passion.
Grace- 40s, African American, supporting character. Q’s mother. She has breast cancer and is on heavy meds, and kimo therapy. She loves Q very much, very close, only friend. She used to work with children in Juvenile Hall.
