North Carolina area casting directors are now accepting submissions from local talent to work as extras on “The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter”
Tona Dahlquist Casting is seeking background actors, mostly men, to be part of a hunting lodge scene filming later this month. The scene will be filming in the Cashiers, NC area.
“The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter” is described as a comedy and will star Danny McBride and Josh Brolin. “The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter” focuses on a father / son story that involves a hunting trip. According to a Deadline report, McBride, David Gordon Green, Carcieri and Lila Yacoub are executive producing the film and the script is written by Jody Hill, Danny McBride, and John Carcieri. Jody Hill will be directing the project. According to the film’s IMDB page, Jaden, a cool and confident sixth-grade boy, is supposed to be bonding with his father on a hunting trip, but Jaden wants to do anything but. Earlier this year, the film conducted a talent search to cast the child lead role of Jaden. The film’s release date is not yet available but it should hit theaters sometime in 2017.

Will be looking for a lot of folks (mostly MALES …but will need some females and few teens) available to film an upscale Hunting Lodge scene on FRIDAY 12/18 in Cashiers, NC.
Do NOT need to own hunting attire for these scenes.
Must be 100% available -able to arrive when needed and stay as long as needed to complete the scenes in the area listed.
We will start booking this next week -so if interested in being considered -let us know ASAP.
