James Patterson’s book, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life is being made into a movie.
Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life is the first book in Patterson’s popular “Middle School” book series about the antics of a young boy named Rafe and his silent… imaginary friend, Leo. Much of the story is set in …. you guessed it… a middle school and casting directors are seeking talent in the Atlanta area to fill some small, recurring extras roles. The movie needs a core group of teachers that are available to work on multiple days beginning next week and going into January (Please see all the filming dates listed below.) Casting directors at Rose Locke Casting are seeking local talent ages 25 or older and are accepting talent submissions right now.

The group of children’s books centers on Rafe Khatchadorian, a boy just entering middle school. … has enough problems to deal with at home, but now, he is entering middle school and a new set of issues get thrown into the mix. Luckily, he’s got a plan for the best year ever, if only he can pull it off with the help of his best buddy, Leonardo “Leo” the Silent. Rafe lives with his younger sister, Georgia, his mom and Mom’s verbally abusive, deadbeat boyfriend, Carl who the kids nicknamed “Bear”. Rafe is definitely not looking forward to the new school year. He dreads entering 6th grade in a new middle school but his buddy Leo will make it all tolerable. Leo is Rafe’s only real friend and urges him to make his mark at Hills Village Middle School by breaking every rule in the book, literally.
