The East Haddam Stage Company (EHSCO.org) East Haddam CT announces non-union professional actor auditions for their 2016 productions.
Auditions are Saturday January 9th from 1:00-4:00pm
at Gillette Castle State Park, Visitors Center, 67 River Rd East Haddam CT

Bring picture and resume with you. Prepare one short monologue of your choice, comedy or drama. There will also be readings from the scripts. Stipend paid for all productions.
William Gillette: Senator’s Son to Super Sleuth
2 actors needed for comedy / drama in trunk show format. Looking for actors who are comfortable with acting outdoors, projection of character and broad playing with a comedy / drama range. Rehearsals begin June 7th, shows are weekends July 9-August 14th. Time commitment is Noon to 4:00pm Saturdays and Sundays, with two 30-minute shows per day.
Roles available are:
Male age range 35-55 to play William Gillette / Sherlock Holmes. British accent a must.
Female age range 25-35 to play Helen Gillette (wife), Dr. Watson, various others, British & cockney, Midwest American accents, etc.
Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Speckled Band (touring ‘radio’ show)
Rehearsals begin August 20th
Shows are evenings and weekends from September 9th-October 15th
Roles available are:
Male 1: Sherlock Holmes age range 30-60, British accent a must
Male 2: Dr. Watson age range 30-60, British accent a must
Male 3: Any age, plays Announcer, does sound effects, Billy the page, Dr. Roylott
cockney and British or Scottish accents a plus.

Potential for a holiday drama: Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Christmas Goose. Rehearsing fall of 2016 for holiday shows from Thanksgiving to Christmas in East Haddam CT.
