The Park Players will present Twilight, Los Angeles, 1992, a play of monologues drawn from interviews in the days following the LA riots.Twilight was nominated for the 1994 Tony Award for Best Play.
The auditions will be held on Wednesday evening (7-10pm), Sept. 9 and Sunday afternoon (1:30-5:30pm), Sept. 13, in the North Rosedale Park Community House.
We hope that you will come to one or both of the auditions and select a monologue to read. You may ignore the gender and ethnicity of the actual speaker. Simply try to feel the pulse and the motivation of the individual being interviewed. There will be up to 37 different characters cast in the production!
For this show, actors will not be needed at all of the rehearsals which are usually held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, as well as Sunday afternoons. We can work around your conflicts.
