The Ring 3 is in production and looking to cast some kids.
Atlanta area casting directors have a call out for kids and teens between the ages of 9 and 14 to fit into one of two categories… kids who can ride a bike and have one to use in the movie, or kids who can play basketball. MHC is Atlanta are the extras casting directors on the project and are only considering kids who live in the ATL area.
The horror franchise’s third installment will be called “Rings”. F. Javier Gutierrez will be directing what is described as a prequel and is set before the first movie “The Ring“. “Rings” will concentrate on Samara’s story and events that led up to “The Ring”. According to the movie’s IMDB page, the film will be set years before the video tape came to be and the beginning of how Samara’s terror began.
“The Ring 3” or “Rings” currently has a release date of November 2015.
