Adult Male Auditions for the Improv Playhouse Production of the Easter classic, “The Gathering”, will be held Sunday Feb 8, 5-7pm and callbacks Monday Feb 9, 6-8pm. The late Josephine Raciti Forsberg’s, respectful, contemporized adaptation of the last hour of the Last Supper will be directed by David Brian Stuart.
The Gathering connects the 12 Disciples’ reflections of their encounters with the “Teacher” moving each actor to engage in contemporary dialogue and a range of perspectives on the Easter experience. Dramatic, and some comedic, elements unfold as they compete for their “teacher’s” attention and status within the group. Men 18+ only.
All types. Sides of the script are available for retrieval at Improv Playhouse, 116 W. Lake Street, Libertyville. Some improv experience helpful, but not necessary.
