Independent project filming in MD this summer is looking to cast actors, actresses, extras and crew.
The film project is looking to fill a variety of speaking and non-speaking parts and is also casting for the film’s leads. The production is also looking for volunteer crew such as MUA’s, stylists, sound, techs and more.
Now in pre-production, the producers of an independent film based on a family drama taking place on the Eastern Shore of Maryland are seeking non-union cast and production members to assist in realizing this film. We are looking for an adult African-American female, and one adult Caucasian male to portray main characters as parents. Also needed are three adolescent African-American females to play the lead role of a girl growing up during three different time periods (from the sixth grade, to junior high school, to high school. It is important that these three individuals appear similar, and mixed race individuals are encouraged to submit). Also, needed are three adolescent Caucasian males to portray a main character within the same three time periods.
Supporting actors needed include various ages, sex, and race, and are encouraged to apply.
Principal filming will take place at various locations on the Eastern Shore, with additional filming to take place locally in Baltimore and surrounding rural areas. Filming will commence this year and progress throughout the year, as a change in seasons is required. Transportation will be provided if needed.

Potential production members may also send their resume to the address above for consideration (production assistants, costume designer, MUA/hair stylist, lighting, sound, continuity, etc.). This film will be entered in various film competitions/exhibitions, and is a non-pay, non-union production. On-film credit and copy of project will be provided to all participants. Some meals provided.
All underage participants must be accompanied by a parent at all times. No exceptions.
