Audition for the Joel Hall Dancers 2nd Company, the trainee company of the Joel Hall Dancers. The audition will be comprised of company repertory. 10am ballet class is strongly encouraged prior to the audition. Pre-register by sending headshots and resumes to info@joelhall.org to waive the audition fee, otherwise $20 is due at the time of the audition. Please arrive early to register, the audition will be 2 hours from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on August 23, 2015.
JHDII grooms dancers for a professional career in dance, and feeds directly into it’s parent company, the Joel Hall Dancers. Members train extensively in ballet, Graham-based modern, Horton-based modern, and urban jazz, and perform in various festivals and concerts year-round throughout the city. The company offers the ground work for a strong foundation, to support a long, rewarding career in dance.

Location: Chicago, IL
Type: Dance
Audition for the Joel Hall Dancers Youth Company Sunday August 23rd from 9:30-11:30am. The audition will be comprised of ballet, jazz and modern dance disciplines. Pre-register by contacting us via info@joelhall.org and your audition fee is waived. Without pre-registration there is a $20 audition fee due at the time of the audition. Please arrive early to register.
JHDYC’s mission is to provide technical training and performance opportunities for teens at a professional level. The members attend classes and rehearsals up to 5 days a week, taking with the master teachers at JHDC, and learning choreography and style from the directors. Participation in JHDYC requires a true commitment of time and energy, and the members gain professional skills, life-long friends and the joy of movement.
