In My Life – A Musical Theatre Tribute to the Beatles

U.S. production and management company is holding auditions for an award-winning, smash hit musical retelling of the Beatles history. The musical, which plays in regional theatres, has toured since 2008 with 95 runs and features the live music of one of the world’s leading Beatles tribute groups. With two additional Beatles productions, the cast works 125 – 150 dates per year. We are holding auditions for a “B” George Harrison with a possibility of moving into to the “A” role.
The position requires the following:
Expert guitarist capable of delivering Harrison’s lead guitar note-for-note
Strong vocal harmonies
Being able to play keyboards a plus
Lean and fit body-type
Available for travel, have or can get a passport
Drama free, no exceptions
Between the ages of 18 and 40 with a youthful appearance.
Acting/theatre experience or ability and willingness to learn. Auditions will be held in Signal Hill on June 7 between 10 am and 2 pm, by invitation only. Rehearsals begin in late June in the Long Beach, CA area.
Production company owns George guitars and amp. Actor/musician would need to buy costumes, wigs and make up.
