Joey “The Ripper” Romano III (M) – The current head of the Romano mob family dating socialite Ruby Price. The Romano family supplies the Gold Key and most of Houston with bootleg whiskey.
Tony (M) – Joey’s cousin and right hand man. Tony has no problem “taking care” of anyone that causes problems for the Romano family.
Jakie’s Security: Rocco & Bobo (M) – Follow Jakie around everywhere for protection and to make sure that all gamblers from the casino
Casino Owner: Jakie Freedman (M) – Started as a bellhop at the Rice Hotel but started hustling whiskey and now owns the exclusive casino Domain Privee. He frequents the speakeasy to pick up new high rollers.
Ruby Price (F) – Socialite and Joey “The Ripper’s” number one girl.
The Golden Key Speakeasy is the set of this show. It is an immoral oasis of self-indulgence in the year 1926. Come back to a time when flappers danced the night away and the men, dressed to impress in their well pressed suits. You will be needing a password at the door to enter and if you do, you will be in the company of great Houstonians like Howard Hughes, Jack Kirby and Sophie Tucker. This immersive murder mystery will take you back to an era when Houston was known as Magnolia City.
