NBC’s show ‘Mysteries of Laura’ starring Debra Messing is filming in NYC
Casting directors with GWC are seeking some male gymnasts in NY / Tri-State area between the ages of 14 and 17 to work as background talent on ‘Mysteries of Laura‘. This is a bit of a rush call as gymnasts will work on a scene this coming Friday. Please see all the details below.
‘The Mysteries of Laura‘ isn’t your usual police drama, it’s got a twist. The show is action packed, yet pretty light hearted and funny. THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA stars Emmy Award-winner Debra Messing (Will & Grace)as Laura Diamond. Laura is a single mom of twins who is also a homicide detective in New York City. Laura may not always look completely pulled together, being the mother of twins may do that to a woman, but her gut feelings and hunches are usually enough to track down the suspects and solve the crimes. Her soon to be ex-husband is also a cop but usually unavailable to help out much which leaves Laura having to do it all and balance her 2 full time jobs of motherhood and police work.
Seeking REAL MALE GYMNASTS ages 14-20 to portray gymnastics students on THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA. Shoot date is FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4TH.
Must have REAL GYMNASTICS EXPERIENCE and must be from the tri-state area. For anyone 14-17 years old, they must have a valid work permit and trust account set up, they also MUST have a parent or guardian on set with them at all time.

Seeking NON UNION Men and Women who are experienced runners for the NBC Show THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4th (nyc area).
The scene will be an indoor gym and you must be comfortable running on a track for multiple takes. Doesn’t have to be fast running but should be someone who runs frequently so that you are fit to do this scene. Must also own workout gear/running gear. Must be from the tri-state area. Must have full day availability.
