NBC’s Chicago PD – Background Casting Alert & Featured Dead Body Role
“WEBSTER HIGH”
SCENES: Upscale, All-Boys, High School. Various scenes include: school evacuation scenes; bullying scenes; group counseling scenes; hallway scenes, etc.
FILMS: Scenes tentatively film Monday, October 5th. *Date is subject to change.Applicants must have the FULL DAY available to film with us; and must be okay with an EARLY MORNING start time.
ROLES:
1.) High School Boys: 15 years old to 20-to-look-younger boys to play High School students. (*Sorry ladies, this is an ALL BOYS school.)
2.) Featured DEAD BODY: 15-17 Years old boy to play a featured dead body. All ethnicities may submit; however ethnicity will eventually be determined when the ‘parents of this character’ are cast by principal casting. Character type should be angelic, youthful, harmless, innocent, etc.
SPECS:
1.) High School Boys: Applicants should look like young, upper class, private school types. Acting experience is a must, as you will be asked to react to various emotional scenarios. We will also be assembling a featured group of boys to make up a BOYS SWIM TEAM. No actual swim experience needed; just need to be athletic in appearance. The Wardrobe for this school is still to be determined; so there is potential for a required, paid wardrobe fitting before the film date. If fit before film date there will be an additional $25 Fitting Bump to your pay out. *Applicants should have a flexible schedule, in case the film and fitting date(s) change.
2.) Dead Body: This featured role will be selected from the High School Boy submissions; if you would like to be considered for this role please indicate in the body of your submission email. Applicants must be ok with this playing the victim scenario and with having SFX blood and make-up applied. Applicants must also be comfortable laying on the ground, outside, for an extended period of time. MUST be available for a paid wardrobe fitting before the scheduled film date. The selected boy will also participate in a photo shoot on set for ‘family photos,’ candids, school ID photo, etc. *Applicants should have a flexible schedule, in case the film and fitting date(s) change.
PAY RATE:
1.) High School Boys: $80/8 hours and time and one half for anything after that; If fit before film date: +$25 Fitting Bump to pay out
2.) Dead Body: $125/8 hours and time and one half for anything after that; +$25 Fitting Bump to pay out
15 YO and YOUNGER?:
If you/your child is 15 YO or younger; they are considered a Minor and they MUST HAVE A TAIL STICKS CASTING WORK PERMIT. Get them NOW! Do not wait until contacted about being selected! They are good for one year! (The Work permits through 4 Star Casting, Joan Philo, or Extraordinary Casting DO NOT WORK for this show.)
