The third installment of the Captain America franchise is still filming in the Atlanta area and has a new call out for extras.
“Captain America: Civil War” is looking for locals to work as background actors / extras next week. Tammy Smith Casting of Atlanta is seeking Caucasian extras with European looks to play scientists and guards in scenes filming the 7th, 8th and 28th of next month. This will be a 3 day booking and talent needs to be available for all 3 days. There is also a second casting call for diplomat and press types to work in scenes filming on the 16th & 17th of July. There is a wardrobe fitting that talent must attend this week in Atlanta.
Marvel Studios is working on the third Captain America film. “Captain America: Civil War“ will focus on a rift forming within the group. After a disagreement between Captain America and Iron Man, the rest of the Avengers will be forced to pick sides, pitting them against each other in what will undoubtedly be an epic battle.
Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans reprise their previous roles as Iron Man and Captain America. Marvel has also announced that Spider-Man will be a part of “Captain America: Civil War“. Earlier this year Sony and Marvel struck a deal that will bring Spidey back to Marvel. Sony has owned the rights to Spider-Man since 1999. Rumor has it that “Captain America: Civil War“ will introduce the new Spider-Man with a new “Spider-Man” feature coming in 2017. According to Variety, the Spider-Man character will rejoin other Marvel projects such as the Avengers as well. Also cast in “Captain America 3” are Scarlett Johansson, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie and Frank Grillo.
The Marvel Studios feature film will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. The “Captain America 3” screenplay is written by Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely. ”Captain America 3” will be hitting theaters in May 2016.
