The new season of “Vampire Diaries” is filming scenes for the show in the Decatur areas and is seeking background talent.
The series is looking for some military / police types as well as general extras who are available to work in the in the Decatur Georgia and Covington areas. The police type is for a 3 day booking and talent must be available to work for 3 days straight, the 19th through the 21st – Monday, January 19th in Decatur, Ga and Tuesday, January 20th & Wednesday, January 21st in Covington. “Vampire Diaries” is looking to book both male and female extras of any ethnicity ages 25 to 50. There is also a Rush Call for Extras on the “Vampire Diaries” to work tomorrow.
“The Vampire Diaries” is developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. The show is based on Vampire lore and focuses on a story about Vampire families that live in the fictional town of Mystic Falls. The show is based on the book series also called “Vampire Diaries” by L. J. Smith.
In Mystic Falls, the Vampires walk the streets alongside the human population however Vampires are not the only supernatural beings in the town. Witches, warlocks and even werewolves all make an appearance from time to time. The show revolves around a woman named Elena (Nina Dobrev) who falls for a very old vampire, Stefan, and then gets tangled up in a love triangle which includes her new beau’s brother.
