New “Alvin and the Chipmunks” Movie is filming now in the Atlanta area and casting some new roles.
The film will include a Miami night club scene and is seeking talent 18+ to fill a variety of roles in a night club. The film’s casting directors are only looking for people who have not yet worked as extras on the movie or what they call “new faces”. They are seeking talent to play club goers, paparazzi, security, hotel / club staff and more. They are especially interested in talent of Cuban decent. The scenes will be filming this Saturday, the 2nd of May and there is a possibility that some extras will also be needed later in the month on Monday May 11th and Tuesday May 12th, also, in the Atlanta area. The production is also seeking people who have cars that can be used in the scenes.
Walt Becker is directing the 4th film in the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise called “Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Chip“. The film will be a combination of live action and CGI. The scheduled release date for the Chipmunks movie is around Christmas time, December 23, 2015. Matthew Gray Gubler will star as the voice of Simon, Justin Long plays Alvin and Theodore will be voiced by Jesse McCartney. In the film, a string of misunderstandings causes Alvin, Simon and Theodore to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in New York City… and dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother.
