NYC Auditions for Speaking Roles in Short Film “Sasha”

CASTING CALL for supporting / speaking roles in independent film “Sasha”.

Auditions will be held in the Midtown New York city this coming Saturday, the 21st.

We will be holding open call auditions for a new short film titled “Sasha” on Saturday March 21st. Location is not yet secured but will be in the next few days. Need to be available on Saturday 21st in the NYC Midtown area in the afternoon in order to audition.

We are looking for the following characters:

DAMIAN (MALE 25-40 – any ethnicity) : Damian is a drug dealer who has a strange obsession with insects. He portrays himself as a cool, charming man but behind closed doors he is a scam artist, a womanizer, and a troubled soul. Damian is the supporting lead in the film, he is the antagonist and needs to be a very strong, experienced actor who can handle dynamic acting.

MIKA (FEMALE 20-30 – Asian) : Mika is a wild lost soul. She parties too much to escape her problems. She is in a relationship with the lead character Sasha and plays a major role in her life. Mika needs to be versatile with the ability to be both vulnerable, yet wild and aggressive. Needs to be able to speak English. Other languages including Russian is a huge plus. Acting experience required.

This is a paid film, shooting starts first weekend of May 2015. Please contact ASAP if interested as auditions are in one week and we already have many actors coming. If you are a passionate, experienced actor who is ready to spill your guts on the screen, we want to see you!
