Robert Rodriguez TV series for the El Rey Network, “From Dusk Till Dawn” is casting background actors in Austin Texas for upcoming scenes.
Third Coast Extras is looking for Hispanic and Caucasian men who have not yet worked on this project and are available in Austin, Texas. The series is also casting for older talent ages 40 to 65 to play horrified on lookers.
Writer, Director and Producer, Robert Rodriguez is working on season 2 of his original series “From Dust Till Dawn”. The show is based on the vampire movie of the same name from the 90’s which starred George Clooney, Selma Hayak and Quentin Tarantino.
The “Dusk ‘Till Dawn” Tv series was the first scripted series for the new El Rey Network which is also a project from Robert Rodriguez.
The series brings back the The Gecko brothers who were originally played by Quentin Tarantino and George Clooney. In the series D.J. Cotrona and Zane Holtz play the bank robbing duo who in the film take hostage a minister and his two kids. They end up in a Mexican bar when things get really ugly because the vampires in the bar go on the hunt.
The Rodriguez Vampire series continues filming in Austin Texas. Texas casting director Beth Speko is having auditions for background actors / extras to work next week in Austin, those interested can submit their info and photos by email.
Please note that the production is only looking for Texas residents to work as extras on the show and proof of residency is required.
